Paintings

I have branched out from black and white printmaking into canvases and colour over recent years. Texture and layering have become more important in the picture, like people, it's the personaility of the piece that makes them interesting. This, with a sense of whimsy and often 'tongue in cheek' social comment, is what I believe is the essence of my work in this medium.

I have been exploring new techniques of late, below are recent paintings, ready for various 2010 shows and exhibitions. Get in fast, they always sell quickly.

Brushed away

Concentrating equally on painting has been a tremendous catalyst for new ideas and inspiration. The results have taken all of my work in new directions.

There is nothing like diving out of the familiar into the new and terrifying. I'm pleased to report I have survived to tell the tale!
